I last blogged about Dave Bascom’s Dog on July 7th 2006, we learned that Dave did not have a dog after all and thus his dog, being a fictional character that I created, had not been named by Dave. So I have taken great pride in naming Dave Bascom’s Dog, Poseidon. I had a two dogs named after mythological Gods and so I thought, why not.

I am also happy to report that the “Dave Bascom’s Dog” post has achieved a #1 ranking on Google for the term Dave Bascom’s Dog. It is a shame however, that Dave and his family will be unable to have a dog seeing how they such cleaver creatures. I personally have never had a more loving pet than my dog Zeus.

So I promised a local SEO Guru that I would obtain the #1 ranking for his Dog well rather the term “Dave Bascom’s Dog”. So this is the page where I attempt to do so using my sweet skills using the new MS Word 2007 beta blog file format, as I majestically upload directly to the net and blog about his dog. You can see a picture of Dave at his awesome SEO Firm blog called Search Trends and I wish the best for him. In fact I met Dave at a tech Expo last August, so almost a year ago. He has always shown me respect and kindness since and if there is anything I can do for you Dave, let me know. Here’s to Dave Bascom and his little dog too!

Lore Sjöberg, is a man after my own heart. His article “Games for Control Freaks” was an awesome laugh. I mean his sarcasm about console gaming controllers is very serious. He means it when he says “All I want is a future where the televisions are rugged enough to handle having an actual brick thrown at them…” and “After all, old people and two-year-olds can be confused by normal video-game controllers, which increasingly resemble cybernetic fruit bats, but everyone understands a big frosty mug of beer”.
